“I'm Arindam Mukherjee, first batch of B. Optometry department 2003-2007 batch. In that period Pailan was the only college who have own eye clinic for the students to learn practically a lot in this field from 3rd semester onwards (how to interact with patient, how to see a patient & do complete work-up).
This gave us a immense platform during competition of internship & job.
Full credit goes to our that time HOD Dr Ranjan Mukherjee & our Chairman Mr Apurba Saha. Now I'm serving Disha Eye Hospital since last 13 years. I am also active member of Optometrist Association of India & Graduate optometry Association.
I'm sure; The future of Pailan Optometry department is very bright as they have few excellent qualified faculties like Monira & Kriti. Also have clinical teacher like Milan sir who is serving this eye clinic since the beginning 2004.”
