The department’s academic programs are guided by the Syllabi of affiliating university WBUT with a special emphasis on the fundamental and essential subjects of electrical engineering to lift the student’s career to the highest level in real−life situations.

  • The department offers excellent scholastic exposure to key areas of electrical engineering like Electrical Circuit and Network, Principles of Electric Sciences, Electronics with Power Electronics and Drives, and Digital Systems including Hardware and Software like MATLAB, SIMULINK, MiPower, Power Generation, Transmission, and Distribution. Proper weightage is given to group discussions and seminars on current and technical topics to prepare the students to face the placement interview.
  • The department prepares the students to nurture themselves intelligently with engineers from other disciplines to bring about solutions to inter-disciplinary-oriented problems.
  • The students are exposed to the industry environment through industrial training and subsequent explanation of the industry requirement by experienced faculty members with long industrial experience.
