Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA)

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

The BBA programme is approved by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal (formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology). Our faculties, with their vast experience in academics, industry, research and training helps develop competent professional managers capable of working and excelling in diverse sectors along with contributing towards the welfare of the society The programme provides a platform to develop interpersonal skills, leadership skills and social responsibilities through classroom activities, industry academia interface and extra-curricular activities. Special attention is given to make the students industry ready through training of soft skills and including role plays, simulations in the teaching pedagogy.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE

The programme aims to nurture individuals with global competencies to handle different management and business issues and develop as better team worker. It also aims to promote entrepreneurial skills among the youth.  It also aims to develop the critical thinking skills of the students to address diverse challenges and opportunities. Seminars and workshops are conducted regularly by industry professionals and academicians to acquaint students with the contemporary industry practices.

COURSE DURATION (4 YEARS)

The BBA programme consists of 8 semesters spread over a period of four academic years. Each academic year consists of two semesters.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERION

Minimum Eligibility 10+2 passed in any stream from a recognized board.
