PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

BBA in Hospital Management at Pailan College Of Management and Technology (PCMT)is a three year undergraduate program that focuses on providing students with the ethos and skills necessary to work in hospitals and healthcare settings, and to become world class leader in the healthcare industry. The program focuses on equipping students with the knowledge and skills required for the management of multi-specialty hospitals, various healthcare organizations and programs. We provide the stepping stone to Master’s Program in Hospital Administration or Management.

The aim of this course is to prepare graduates for consultancy and managerial positions in hospitals and other healthcare organizations by providing the vocabulary, knowledge and skills of modern management.

With the continuing growth of healthcare industry, the demand has been out sizing the supply. The BBA –HM program is more integrated with the industry than any other program. PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

This program aims at training students to evaluate, research and present data related to healthcare management.
This program is to develop the intellectual capacity, executive personality, and managerial skills in a way that enables them assume entry-level managerial positions in business and industry, public sector organizations, consultancy companies and other organizations.
This program will enable the students to continuously improve the health care processes – Registration, Billing, Patient Admission, Discharge, Insurance, Floor management, Reporting, life support, ambulatory services, facility emergencies etc.

COURSE DURATION (4 YEARS)

The BBA – Hospital Management programme consists of 8 semesters spread over a period of four academic years. Each academic year consists of two semesters.
