Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA)

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

A three-year undergraduate degree in technology and computer applications is known as a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). In this course, students will learn about a variety of computer applications as well as how to solve computer-related problems. It is very good for a person who wants to make his/her future in field of computer programming and software developing.

To train students with technical and analytical skills and make them eligible for industry sectors across the country and abroad.
To enable the students to learn beyond the curriculum so that they can keep pace with latest emerging technologies of the IT industry.

COURSE DURATION (4 YEARS)

The BCA programme consists of 8 semesters spread over a period of four academic years. Each academic year consists of two semesters.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERION

Minimum Eligibility 10+2 passed in any stream from a recognized board.

Database and networking technologies: Database Management System, Computer networking, Internet technology
Programming Technologies: Python, Java, C, .Net, PHP
Digital and Numerical Technologies: Digital Electronics, Computer Architecture, Discrete Structure, Data Structure and Algorithm, IT Literacy
Management and other Technologies: Values and Ethics, Principles of Management, Entrepreneurship, soft skills, Environmental Science.
